A murder trial is headed toward conclusion in Wakulla County Monday.
Jerry Davis is accused of strangling his wife of 42 years and dumping her body in Alabama.
Davis first reported his wife, Julia, was missing in December of 2004. He said she had wandered off, possibly due to a medical condition.
The day before the missing person's report was filed, her body was discovered in Alabama.
Investigators say Davis confessed to the crime.
Closing arguments are set for today in Wakulla County.
