Warm weather and blue skies were the icing on the cake for Boston, Georgia's 15th Annual Spring Fling, a day filled with fun for people of all ages and an economic boost for the small city.
Organizers say several thousand out-of-towners usually pack the streets for the springtime festival, which is always held the Saturday before Easter.
Between food sales, vendors' profits and the tour of historic homes, coordinators estimate thousands of dollars are pumped into Boston's economy.
Virgil Thomas, a vendor, said, "Mainly what we're selling here are some of the flowers my wife made. She makes arrangements called 'beautiful flowers' and she's really good at it!"
The day's events included an Easter bonnet contest and a parade, along with arts and crafts sales.
