Officials say the market price for copper is soaring and criminals have taken note.
Many area businesses including farms have been hit by copper bandits.
Thomasville Police investigators are trying to identify the men captured by surveillance video. The two were stealing rods from an undisclosed area business.
Assistant Commander Melvin Johnson with the Thomasville Police Department says, "Business owners should monitor their buildings a little more than they have. Many of the thefts are from buildings that are not currently being used."
Anyone with information about any copper thefts can call Thomasville investigators at (229) 227-3302.
