A local minister opened with the prayer, "We gather to reflect on their premature deaths and the lost opportunities of their lives."

Dozens of pro-life supporters stood at a grave site with their heads bowed... praying for unborn fetuses. The group gathered for the opening ceremony for their 40-days-of life campaign and they say their main goal is to stop abortions.

"Life does begin at conception. And we need to protect all life," said Deacon and pro-life demonstrator, Mark Schneider.

The group gathered at a grave site where they say over 600 aborted fetuses were buried over 20 years ago.

"It's sad as to how many babies were killed and who cared and they're still being killed today," said President of the Big Bend Right to Life, Carole Griffin.

The demonstrators hope their anti-abortion signs and peaceful demonstrations will help change some people's minds.

"We ask anyone who is pro-choice to reconsider their position and to be open to the fact that the baby is alive and has just as much a right to live like you and I," said pro-life supporter, Jean Nixon.

But pro-choice supporters have a different take on the issue. The president of Planned Parenthood of North Florida released a statement - saying, "Let us trust and honor women by respecting the difficult decisions that they must make when faced with an unintended pregnancy..."

The pro-life group says it will continue to push it's peaceful message by providing community outreach and praying outside of abortion clinics for a total of 40 days.

The 40 days of life campaign officially begins on February 17-th and continues through March 28-th.

Oh Please!,these people ain't tellin nobody what to do with thier body. What they are telling people ain't no different than someone like "let my people go"telling other people to pray for someone. If you don't like what they are saying, don't listen.Let them say what they want.Big deal.

LetMyPeopleGo: Well I will remove my name from ALL future postings if you, the Prayer, can find one fact that is wrong on my post. Sounds like you need prayer for denial. Are you a KKK member in good standing?

If you don't like abortions, then please DON'T have one. Don't tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her body. It's her decision to live with, not yours.
