Hundreds of people gathered in Iowa Saturday, February 27 to sample all things bacon at the Third Annual Bacon Fest.

The event served up some 1300 pounds in a variety of ways.

Chocolate covered bacon and chocolate chunk cookies with bacon were among the biggest draws.

There was also bacon ice cream and a bacon eating contest.
