In the bitter cold ...thousand rallied.

"Are you ready to fight? yeah!!"

Their signs cut to straight to the point...."clunkers three billion, NASA zero Many of these NASA employees say the presidents plan to eliminate funding for space flight operation is the wrong move.

Hudak says: "If we lose the space program here on this coast we're going to lose the whole brain trust. Florida is in trouble. The whole nation is in trouble. We need to maintain the jobs here."

Janey is a local teacher who came to show her support for what she believes is a national heritage to the men and women who make this a reality.

Hudak says "I can remember the first walk on the moon. Exploration. It's connected with being human. Where are we going to go in science without our government backing it?"

With one voice, their message was clear. Save jobs at the space coast.

NASA employees took things a step further at this rally by documenting their stories.

Through video journals to be shared for future generations.

Bell says: "what's going to happen with our children? We worked 50 and 60 years to put man on the moon and travel to outer space and back to the international space station what's Jeffery and i going to do? What's he going to do?"

Jamieson says: "I'm sure there's a great deal of disappointment across the country that the space program will come to an end as we know it at the end of the year."

Vaccaro says: " i was a kid. I lived through it the first time with my family and it was tough after Apollo and to see it happen a second time is unacceptable and inexcusable."

Vaccaro says: "what i want to see is a true vision. Let's keep our lead in space and not succeed it to anybody."

Average cost of a shuttle mission,60mill,Russians want 50.1mill and that will go up when shuttle retires.Keep shuttle going until the commercial people can do it,but Lorie Glover doesn't want that!

That's what NASA employees deserve for voting for Barack "The Science President" Obama and Bill "I'm A Spaceman" Nelson. And Tom, you're wrong. Were going to pay the Russians billions of dollars to service our satellites and transport our guys to the international space station. The day we lose space is the day we are no longer the world's superpower. All part of Capt. Barack's plan.
