Storm clouds roll into southern Leon County, a sure sign of what's to come, and leaving residents riding on edge, fearing the slick streets could get even worse.
Darren Wood, a Leon County resident, says, "If it keeps on going, going to get a lot worse. Anytime get a lot of rain we have to boat in."
Bonnie didn't wash away any roads, but with Charley on the edge of the Gulf, residents say it's only a matter of time before it's wiped out.
Robert Hendrieth, a Leon County resident, explains, "Every time it rains it floods, doesn't have to be a hard rain."
A possible saving grace from mother nature's wrath: truckloads of sand. With Bonnie behind, residents are now keeping an eye on Hurricane Charley.
