The Maverick Flying Car goes more than 90 miles per hour and can fly up to 10,000 feet.
A prototype passed through Valdosta today on its way to a car show in Wisconsin.
It holds a single passenger and is flown with the same controls used to drive it.
"It's practical, you can drive it," said Troy Townsend, the Maverick Test Pilot and engineer with i-Tec. "You can drive it to the store, you can drive it across country or if you want to fly it."
The Maverick Flying Car may be for sale by the end of the year.
It would cost around $84,000.
