Have you ever heard of an alpaca? Well, you've probably heard of camels and llamas.

Alpacas are a species of animals in the same family as those.

The Florida Alpaca Breeders Association brought them up to Tallahassee for a chance for locals to get to know the interesting animals.

The event was held at the North Florida fairgrounds. People got to play with the animals and dozens of vendors displayed alpaca fashions and hand-crafted items made out of their fur.

The Alpaca Breeders Association was out at the fairgrounds all day and will be there Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., so get out there and check out the animals while you can.
