Active Living Means You Can Still Do It All
Annual Expo Takes Place Sept. 12-13
The 15th annual Active Living Expo will be held Thursday and Friday, September 12-13, at the Tallahassee Senior Center (TSC). More than 75 exhibitors will provide information on health and community resources geared to Tallahassee's expanding senior population. The Expo is open to the public, and a $3 admission ticket is good for both days. Complimentary valet parking is available.
New to the expo this year, a pre-event, "Boom Back to the Future," will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 3-8 p.m. This special Boomer Expo features keynote speaker Dr. Bill Thomas, who shares the "Life Reimagined" concept and how midlife adults can make exploration and growth part of their lifelong journey of discovery. Local vendors will showcase cultural activities, educational opportunities, health and fitness, travel and volunteer prospects in Tallahassee and beyond. Experts will discuss brain fitness, lifelong learning and how to think about "What's Next" in life. Registration for the Boomer Expo is required; call 877-926-8300 or visit
