Thomasville,GA- Dozens of artists from around the U.S. made their way to Thomasville Friday.
It's all part of Thomasville's 17th Annual Plantation Wildlife Arts Festival.
More than 60 artists from all over the country are showing off and selling their wildlife inspired paintings, hunting decoys, sculptures and jewelry.
One artist from Texas says she looks forward to this event at the Thomasville Center For the Arts every year.
"The people are great, great reception, everybody is just super," said artist Melanie Fain. "The little town of Thomasville is just beautiful to come in and work with the people here; that southern hospitality!"
The event will go through until Sunday and also offers activities for kids.
All the proceeds from the festival will go toward the art and education programs of the Thomasville Center for the Arts.
