It was a very close call for a little girl walking the aisles of a Wal-Mart in west Georgia.

It was a very close call for a little girl walking the aisles of a Wal-Mart in west Georgia.

7-year-old Brittney Baxter recalled her "stranger danger" training and was able to get away from a man who tried to abduct her at the store in Bremen, Georgia.

Police say 25-year-old Thomas Woods tried to take the girl yesterday 2/8/12 while her mom was in a different aisle.

The surveillance video shows a man carrying the girl away, but releasing her after she kicked and screamed.

Woods faces a charge of attempted kidnapping and was out on parole after being convicted of voluntary manslaughter.

"Out on parole for voluntary manslaughter" which was no doubt plead down from a much more severe original charge. Question is, why was he even out on parole after "voluntarily" --on purpose!-- KILLING someone? Our so-called "justice" system is fubar.

This is why as parents we should not let our kids get out of our sight especially at that age. I am very alert when it comes to my kids I never lose sight of where they are especially in public places. Thank goodness this little girl is safe.
