Close to 100 people came out to remember Brandi Peters and her three children, Tamiyah ,Taniyah and Jovante.

Neighbors stood on their doorsteps and those who did not even know the family traveled to stand in the drive way of the home on Saddle Creek Run where the four were found dead more than a week ago.

Leon County Commissioner Bill Proctor says, "People have been jolted, people have been shaken up. They've been up rooted. These things don't happen in Tallahassee. This is just so far out of bounds."

Tamiyah and Taniyah's teachers from Bond Middle school stood in the middle of the unity circle, to share memories of their students.
"I'm grateful to God for the short while that she was here." "Taniyah was not afraid of a challenge and of course she's going to be missed, but I often say to myself that God chose to pick one of his little flowers."

Children, close in age to Tamiyah, Taniyah and Jovante, lined the circle, heads bowed as the Reverend prayed for the young lives lost.

Tallahassee Police Chief Dennis Jones offered comfort by giving a confident and hopeful update into the investigation of the young family's death. "I'm here to tell you as a law enforcement officer as your chief of police that we will get to the bottom of this. We will bring peace to this neighborhood. And in honor of Brandi and her children Tamiyah, Taniyah and Jovante, we're here tonight to honor them, to bring peace here. But also to reassure you that who ever did this will be brought to justice."

A candle light vigil is held to remember the mother and her three kids who were killed in their Tallahassee home.

The vigil is also a time to bring the entire community together.

The prayer vigil was led by Pastor Stanley Walker, the President of the Tallahassee Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance.

The community is called together to remember 27-year old Brandi Peters and her children.

She, her twin six-year-old daughters Tamiyah and Taniyah Peters, and her three year old son Jovante Segura were found dead November 20th.

Authorities say they were killed inside of their home at 908 Saddle Creek Run.

Joanne Gambles lives down the street. She said, "You want them to get somebody as soon as possible but as long as they're doing all that they can, that's all that you can hope and pray for cause nobody can really determine the outcome. God is the only one who can really say what's gonna happen."

Authorities have not released many details.

At this time, there have been no arrests, but authorities say they have gotten a few tips, and continue to follow all leads.

A unity circle was formed and Chief of Police Dennis Jones, the principal of Bond Elementary School, where the twin girls went, and organizers Leon County Commissioner Bill Proctor and Pastor Walker, among others made comments.

Officer Dave McCranie says investigators are still analyzing evidence from the house. He says they have gotten active information from the public.

Police are not giving details but say some information has been beneficial.
