More details have been released about a woman struck by a car Sunday afternoon.
Tallahassee police say 33-year-old Christie Hanners stepped off the sidewalk near the Greyhound Bus Station on Tennessee Street when a car hit her going westbound.
The car was a Mazda SUV, but police aren't releasing the name of the driver.
As of today, Hanners is listed in critical condition at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Tallahassee, Florida - July 16, 2012 -
Yesterday, TPD responded to West Tennessee Street near the Greyhound Bus Station in reference to a pedestrian being struck. Further investigation revealed the pedestrian, later identified as Christie Hanners, stepped off the sidewalk and was struck by a westbound Mazda SUV. Ms. Hanners was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries, where she is currently undergoing treatment.
The investigation is on-going by TPD's Traffic Homicide Unit and updates will be provided as they become available. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call TPD at (850) 891-4200.

A woman has been hospitalized after being struck by a car.
It all happened this afternoon on West Tennessee Street near the Greyhound bus station.
Tallahassee police say the woman was either walking along the street or trying to cross it.
That's when the vehicle hit her.
TPD says the woman was taken to the hospital where she is recovering.
The driver of the car didn't sustain any injuries.
The names of the individuals have not been released at this time.
