Tallahassee, FL - The angel tree program is looking to help bring Christmas to children in need.
The Salvation Army on West Tennessee Street in Tallahassee is accepting applications until October 11th. You will want to bring documents, like your child's birth certificates, proof of your household income and expenses.
Juli Dasilva, The Salvation Army: "They go there, they take the angel from the tree and they sponsor that child with whatever they can, with toys or with shoes or with clothing. So we make sure that every child in need in the city of Tallahassee can be assited through the Angel Tree Program."
The angel tree will be located at Governor's Square Mall during the holiday season. Sponsors will then draw angels from the tree and purchase the items requested.
