Christmas Day Weather Update

The fog from overnight has cleared the way to a cloudy Christmas Day. Afternoon high temps will warm up to the lower 70s. A few thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon.

Late tonight we'll have to keep an eye on a cold front approaching from the West. This cold front has has the potential to provide severe weather to our area. This severe weather is possible between 8pm Christmas night and 8am Wednesday morning.

The biggest impacts to our area will be gusty winds, possibly greater than 60mph, and isolated tornadoes. The best chance of tornadoes will occur in south Georgia, but they are possible all across our region.

Behind the cold front we will clear out and cool down. Lows on Thursday and Friday morning will be in the mid and lower 30s.

Keep an eye on the weather all day today and into tonight. We'll keep you updated with the latest on TV, right here and on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
