Tallahassee, FL- Crowds gathered downtown at Kleman Plaza Saturday morning to celebrate Springtime Tallahassee.
Springtime Tallahassee is an event that has been held in the capital city for 45 years.
"Just to meet people," said Milton Lewis, a Tallahassee Resident. "You get to see people you haven't seen in a whole year. It's just a joyous time."
People of all ages from across Florida and Georgia joined the festivities and every year new attendees join the fun and the population grows.
Among the festivities that included food vendors and music, there was a parade that featured some familiar faces from the WCTV family.
The Eyewitness News Team walked and waved to the crown along side WCTV's live-truck and handed out candy to smiling children.
"I've never been here before," said Julie Petersen, Enjoying the Parade. "So I am very excited to see what it's like, it's like Spring Break Tallahassee."
Many other companies and organizations from the Big Bend all the way to Central Florida took part as well.
"Yeah," said someone from out of town. "I think why not I'm coming back."
