A Tallahassee Memorial spokeswoman says Joe Lenton is still hospitalized in critical condition.

Tallahassee, Fla. -- Tallahassee Police have identified a bicyclist that suffered life-threatening injuries in a crash on Monday as Joe Lenton, Jr.

Police say he is still hospitalized at this time.

The driver of the car has been identified as Floyd Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins was not injured in the crash.

Tallahassee, Fla. -- A bicyclist has been taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car at the intersection of Capital Circle and Centerville.

Officers say that around 6:45 this morning, a bicyclist was headed westbound on Centerville going across Capital Circle when he traveled into the path of a red Volvo.

Officers say that the bicyclist entered the intersection while the light was red.

There was one person traveling in the Volvo at the time of the crash, and officers say they were not injured.

Officers say the bicyclist was a male, but did not indicate an age range or a name at this time.
