Decatur County, GA - Grab your cowboy hat and slip on your boots; it's time for the fourth annual Decatur County Family Connection Rodeo.
The two day event in Bainbridge kicks off Friday night. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the events will start at 7:30 p.m.
Professionals from the Cowboy Association of Waycross, Georgia will be performing all your favorite rodeo events, such as barrel racing, calf roping, bull riding, break-aways, and team roping.
There will also be plenty of food to enjoy.
Organizers say all of the proceeds from the rodeo will go directly to charity.
"The two main charities being the 'backpack program' where we provide food for needy children at the elementary schools every week and also the food bank," said Ronnie Burke, the coordinator for Family Connection.
Burke said there are about a dozen other programs in Decatur County that will also receive some of the money raised.
The rodeo will be held Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16, at the Commodore Industrial Park in Decatur County.
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. both nights and events will begin at 7:30 p.m.
