DAVIE, Fla. (AP) -- Authorities say a Broward County man who couldn't swim drowned in a pool.
Detectives are investigating the death of 28-year-old Anish John from Davie. They say he died early Sunday morning, a few hours after jumping into a swimming pool at a party.
A sheriff's office report says John was under water for several minutes before other party-goers noticed him, pulled him out and tried CPR. Fire rescue transported him to Holy Cross Hospital where he was pronounced dead after 1 a.m.
Authorities have not said why John jumped into the pool.
