Tallahassee, FL - The cheering and chanting started early this morning.

"Lets go Rattlers, yeah baby," a fan said while cheering.
"Strike Rattlers, strike," said another fan.

Fans formed the familiar block party in front of Bragg Stadium.
FAMU supporters were sporting their orange and green ready for the first home game of the season.

"I am very excited about this season with our new coach, our quarter back and the band is back, its excitement back on the hills, the highs on 7 hills," said Gregory Farmer, a Rattler fan.

Rattler fans say they wanted to see the band back with a bang.

"Most people come out here for the band, without the band we got no game," said Bernard Little, a Rattler fan.

"Very excited I want to see the Rattlers play, I am excited to see the 100 come back, I mean, it's tradition," said a Rattler fan.

Alums came from across the country just to see their Rattlers take on Tennessee State University.

"I came from Birmingham, Alabama for the game," an alum said.

But, some fans did not have to go too far for a game-type atmosphere.

"I like when Tallahassee comes out together and watches the game, I can hear the games from my house, I can hear everything," said a fan.
