Tallahassee, FL--"You think about this day, you pray for it and once it comes its overwhelming," said Michael Jefferson, a FAMU Grad. "But I am so thankful and this is the beginning of something amazing."
Those are the words that express the feelings of many graduates at Florida A and M University. Even though some college graduates have mixed emotions about the next step.
"Scared, nervous and excited at the same time," said a FAMU grad.
The job market is not something to be excited about, according to the recent poll by the U.S. Bureau of Labor. More than 40 percent of recent U.S. college graduates are unemployed or need more training to get on a career track. "She came here all by herself and she did it, so we came here to support her," said a family member of a graduate.
