FDOT Announces Intermittent Lane Closures & Pavement Evaluations

Delays along I-10 in Tallahassee

Chipley – Service pole foundation work will take place along (Interstate 10) I-10 in Tallahassee. The outside eastbound lane and shoulder will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 22 between mile marker 193.5 and 196.8. The outside westbound lane and shoulder will be closed Wednesday, Jan. 23 between mile marker 200.8 and 209.4. Lane closures will remain in effect from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling through the construction area, and to use caution, especially at night when driving in work zones.

Pavement evaluations on U.S. 319 (Crawfordville Road)

Chipley – Intermittent lane closures will occur Monday, Jan. 21 on U.S. 319 (Crawfordville Road) beginning at State Road 267 and continuing two miles south in Wakulla County. A Florida Department of Transportation crew will perform evaluations on the roadway. Lane closures will remain in effect from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather. Drivers are reminded to pay attention to the speed limit when traveling through the construction area, and to use caution, especially at night when driving in work zones.

Intermittent Lane Closures on Mahan Drive

Chipley – Drivers traveling U.S. 90 (Mahan Drive) between County Road 0353 (Dempsey Mayo Road) and Apex Drive in Tallahassee will encounter intermittent lane closures in the west and eastbound lanes Monday, Jan. 21 through Friday, Jan 25. Construction crews are completing various construction activities along the corridor. Lane closures will remain in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Drivers are reminded to use caution when traveling through the work zone. All activities are weather dependent and may be delayed or re-scheduled in the event of inclement weather.
