Tallahassee, FL--About 267 people were ejected by the Florida State University Police during the game against Miami. The number is not counting the Leon County Sheriff's Office 37 ejects the agency made.
FSUPD say, it is a record setting number for any home game at Doak Campbell Stadium. Almost 40 arrests were made for underage drinking. Other were arrested for trying to get into the game illegally and for disorderly conduct.
"The problem of people causing trouble is not going to go away and we don't want it to end up in an arrest," said MAJ Jim Russell/ Florida State University Police. "If you misbehave a little too much, it is time to go home."
According to police, they beefed up patrol near the stadium areas before, during and after the game.
