Tallahassee, Fla.

A donation by the FSU Police Department will help disabled people in our community.

Today, at the Unconquered statue, officers donated $2,000 to the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). The money will be used to send four families on a four day three night vacation at Rish Park for those with disabilities.

This is the second year FSU has donated to the cause which has opened up new doors for the APD.

"Well thanks to the chief, and he immediately stepped up, this relationship is growing each and every year," said JR Harding of the APD.

"We love helping," said FSU police officer Michael Rodes. "That's what we're all about, making sure people are taken care of."
