Tallahassee, FL - FSU's business training boot camp is back for veterans and their families.

Tonight, they had an opening ceremony to welcome this year's participants.

The program is all about helping veteran's families empower themselves with more knowledge of the business world.

It's called the entrepreneurship boot camp for veteran's families. It kicks off today with a welcome reception and runs until Wednesday of next week.

The event this year is catered to families - it's the second year they hosted this type of event.

It includes caregivers of veterans who have suffered disabilities related to post 9/11 service, survivors of those who lost their lives and spouses of active duty military.

It's sponsored by the center for veteran outreach, hosting 15 participants, and the program adds training in small-business management with caregiver and family issues.

The keynote speaker for the boot camp's graduation ceremony was part of the boot camp last year and created her own company and product - a spill urinal for bedridden men.
