Quitman, Ga.- The first ever Community Spring Festival was held on Saturday at the Veterans Football Stadium in Quitman.
The festival was hosted by the Brooks County School System. It featured live music, food and dozens of vendors. The goal of the festival was to expose the community to all of the schools in Brooks County. As well as the students that go to them.
Yurshema Flanders is the Parent Engagement Coordinator for Brooks County Schools. She said "we have very talented students. They've come out throughout the day and they sing and they've danced and they've really had a good time so it lets the community know what talented kids we have as well."
Organizers say they plan to make the Spring Festival an annual event.
