Franklin Blvd in Tallahassee to Close

Tallahassee, FL --June 14, 2012--

A major roadway in Tallahassee is expect to be closed for more than a month.

Starting Tuesday, 6-19-12 Franklin Boulevard is closed between Park Avenue and Tennessee Street. The closure is expected to last about five weeks while construction crews work to install a storm water box culvert. The culvert will help alleviate flooding in the area.

Traffic on Park between Franklin and Magnolia Drive can access Crest Street south.

Those who work and live in the area will still have access to their homes and businesses.
