GADSDEN Co., Fla. -- Gadsden County School Superintendent Reginald James and other district leaders, along with County Commissioner Eric Hinson, took the ALS Ice Bucket challenge Thursday afternoon.
School board member Audrey Lewis says it touches close to home because she has Multiple Sclerosis.
"After being diagnosed after 30 years and doing wonderful, I thought this would be a worthy cause for us to come out and raise money for research for ALS. If we stick together in unity, I know we can find a cure for all of these diseases," Said Lewis.
Superintendent James passed the challenge onto Jefferson County School Superintendent Al Cooksey.
