Thomasville, GA - Dozens of golfers pulled out their clubs and hit the greens for a good cause.
It was all part of The Marguerite Neel Williams Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Georgia's 4th annual golf tournament.
Teams played the course at Glen Arven Country Club Monday, followed by luncheon and a silent auction.
All the proceeds from the event will go to the Boys and Girls Club, which helps children and young adults in Thomasville and Thomas County.
Bob Hutchison, a board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Southwest Georgia said, "We do tutoring. We have computers that these kids can learn on and continue their students even after school. It's a place for activities; we have basketball, the kids can play pool, foosball; you name it, they have it!"
Organizers say the 4th Annual Golf Tournament is expected to bring in more than $10,000.
