Tallahassee, FL--Florida A&M University celebrates the Annual Grape Harvest Festival. The 13 year-old event kicked off with the Vineyard Run and walk.
This year's theme is "Visions of Health and Wealth in the Vineyard."
FAM-U coordinated the event with the Center for Viticulture and Small Fruit Research.
"Allows us to continue connecting with the community one of the great traditions with agriculture in our institute is it demonstrates away that we can have local communities rural and urban in the economic development activity," said Larry Robinson, the FAMU President.
Children had a bounce house and interactive educational displays.
The event even had grape throwing and stomping.
