Tallahassee, FL - On an ordinary day, the Tallahassee Museum closes in the late afternoon.

Saturday was no ordinary day, due to the annual Swamp Stomp Music Festival.

Local musicians came together to showcase their talents and put on a show for hundreds of people. They started in the late-afternoon and continued into the night.

The festival is in its 36th year, with some musicians having participated in at least 10 years of tradition.

"It's a fun day out for kids and folks, and you get to see a bunch of friends," said Mimi Hearn, one of the performers. "Everyone is playing, and it's a good gathering place."
