Tallahassee, FL - December 5, 2012 - 11:10 am - FAMU Trustee Spurgeon McWilliams says he's gotten a lot of calls of concerns regarding the head football coach vacancy and the status of the suspended Marching 100 Band.
He says he agrees with the collective group that the university should've had someone in place before the recruiting season. He says the school is behind in the process of finding a new head coach.
McWilliams also says the public has the right to know when the band is coming back.
Interim President Dr. Larry Robinson says administrators are working to ensure conditions are best or right to bring the Marching 100 back. He says he does not see either issue going well into the future.
