Thomasville, GA- More than two dozen consular and trade officials from 23 countries toured Southwest Georgia Technical College's virtual hospital and vet-tech lab Thursday.
It was all part of Georgia's 28th annual International VIP Tour.
The tour, which is organized by the Georgia Department of Economic Development, showcases business, tourism, and educational opportunities throughout Georgia.
"It's really clear to us that the technical college system works really well with businesses here," said Paul Gleeson, the Consul General of Ireland. "I think it's something our countries can learn from in mary instances and it's really just a great chance for us to see some of those opportunities that are there and an education system that really seems to work."
The VIP Tour included representatives from 23 countries including Greece, Brazil, Nigeria and Japan.
