It's About to Get More Expensive to Buy a Gun in Georgia

Valdosta, GA - It's about to get more expensive to buy a gun in Georgia. In just over a week, the cost of a "Weapons Carry License" is going up by $7. That's from $72 to $79. The Georgia Crime Information Center says the price hike comes from more extensive background checks. You can look for that starting March 1st.
