Tallahassee, FL - How about some grits and sausage?

That's what 90-year-old Benjamin Austin eats every single morning.

Olson has been going to the cafe at Capital Regional Hospital in Tallahassee every day for the past 17 years.

This morning (6/19), his family and friends surprised him, as the head chef announced they're giving Olson free breakfast for life at the cafe.

They've also named his favorite meal after him-- 'The Mr. Ben Special.' It's plain grits, four turkey sausage links, and sweet tea.

We're told Austin is never short on words. But, the exception seems to be when he's being questioned while he's trying to eat. When we asked him on camera why does he come to the cafe every morning, Austin answered, "To eat."

Staff members say it's a joy to see Austin every morning. They call him caring and funny. His friends say he does a lot for the community.

When he finishes his breakfast, he visits the elderly at local hospitals and nursing homes. The 90-year-old still drives.
