Loud Music Complaint Ultimately Leads Police To Drug Bust

Thomasville, GA- A loud music complaint over the weekend ultimately led to a drug bust.

Angela Perez and Mitchell Hayes, both 20 years old, are charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and producing marijuana.

Nicholas Vance is also charged with possession of cocaine.

Around 2:30 Saturday morning Thomasville police arrived at the Quial Rise Apartment complex. They'd received complaints of a party going on.

After smelling marijuana coming from the apartment, narcotics agents got a search warrant.

Kevin Lee, the Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Commander said agents found three or four different quantities of marijuana. They also found a small bag of powdered cocaine and approximately a two foot marijuana plant growing.

Agents also seized an AR-15 assault rifle from the apartment.

Perez and Hayes were also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
