Man Seriously Hurt in Crash on Old Bainbridge Rd

Leon County, Fl-November 1, 2012

One man is seriously hurt after his truck went off the road and flipped over, hitting several trees along the outskirts of Leon County early Thursday morning.

Twenty-six year-old Joseph Willis was driving north along Old Bainbridge Road in his 1992 Nissan pickup around 5:30 a.m.

The Florida Highway Patrol says Willis' truck went off the road for an unknown reason and hit several tree before flipping over.

Willis was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected. He was taken to Tallahassee Memorial. FHP says his injuries are serious.

The Leon County Sheriff's Office, Leon County EMS and Lake Jackson Fire all responded to the crash.

The accident happened along the same stretch of road where a motorcyclist was killed this past Saturday.
