Motorcycle collides with Railroad tracks leaving one man in serious condition Saturday in Madison County. 58-year-old Owens Lincoln was traveling south on County Road 150.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, Lincoln failed to negotiate his 2006 Harley Hertiage through a sharp curve to the right in the roadway.
According to FHP, Lincoln's motorcycle was approaching a railroad crossing on County Road 150. The motorcycle traveled south across the center line and across the northbound travel lane.
The motorcycle continued southwest onto the east shoulder. It's front tire collided with the railroad tracks. It then traveled south across the railroad tracks and overturned.
According to FHP, Lincoln was ejected from the motorcycle. He came to final rest on the south side of the railroad track facing east. The Harley traveled east and came to final rest on its right side facing east. He was brought to Doctors Memorial Hospital. According to FHP, he is in serious condition. According to FHP, alcohol was not related.
The Greenville Volunteer Fire Dept and the Madison County Sheriff's Dept. assisted at the scene.
