Thomasville, GA- One person was arrested after drug agents uncovered a working meth lab in his backyard.

Thomasville-Thomas County Narcotic Agents received a tip from a caller that somebody was cooking methamphetamine at a residence along McMillian Road.

Agents obtained a warrant and searched the home, as well as a shed in the backyard.

That's where they say they found all the components commonly used to create the drug.

"It had a gas generator off to the side. They had a tea pitcher with what we think to be methyl, which would be converted into methamphetamine. It's one of the latter stages of manufacturing meth," said Kevin Lee, commander of the Thomasville-Thomas County Narcotics Division.

James William Butler III, 31, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Drug Agents believe more people are involved with the meth lab and say, more arrests are pending.
