TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has a new director of law enforcement.
Col. Calvin Adams Jr. took over the post this week at the largest conservation law enforcement agency in the country. He will oversee more than 1,000 employees.
Adams replaces Jim Brown, who retired after roughly four years on the job.
Adams has served as deputy director of the wildlife commission's law enforcement division since 2007.
