New Cell Phone Waiting Lot for Tallahassee Regional Airport

It can be frustrating to have to literally drive in circles to pick someone up at the airport.

Well, that headache is about to end in Tallahassee.

There was a groundbreaking Tuesday afternoon for a new cell phone lot at the Tallahassee Regional Airport.

This new service will allow drivers to pick people up while waiting free of charge.

"Technology is advancing, people use cell phones," said Tallahassee Mayor John Marks.

The lot has 30 parking spaces. It's located on the east side of the airport.
