There's a new resource for teachers. It's basically "YouTube" for the classroom.
Teachers at Buck Lake Elementary learned about the latest social media convenience today. It's called "watchknowlearn.org." It's a website with nearly 30 thousand educational videos. Administrators say one of the best things about the site is the price tag.
"It's absolutely free and I get challenged on this all the time. It's free because we have a wonderful benefactor that underwrites the program. He believes strongly in technology and education and he'll continue to support. This will always be free to teachers, parents and students," said Watchknowlearn.org CEO Joe Thomas.
All the videos are produced and uploaded by teachers for teachers. Thomas is touring the country to inform all educators about the free site.

Wow - am I impressed! Great site, especially for home-schoolers. Finally, a student can learn at an advanced rate.
Great site, but the best part is a teacher can even host their own videos on the site and share them with students and parents for remedial work and more. I love it....and it is free.
