Tallahassee, FL - A trolley system could be returning to Tallahassee if City Commissioners have their way. But not everyone is 'on-board' with the idea of the system that would run on the weekends.

For many tourists or visitors a trolley sounds like a great way to get around a city and see Tallahassee, but some neighborhoods have concerns with the project going ahead.

Members of the Glendale neighborhood are concerned about noise that might come with the routes especially in the early morning hours of Saturday and Sunday. They're worried about traffic that might come from running the service in the evening hours on Friday and Saturday.

Another issue - the noise it might bring from people coming from downtown.

"Two of the roads Roads Way and Florida Avenue are two that it will go on every 15 minutes from 5 pm to 3 pm Friday and Saturday."

The city should have the 6 trolleys by February of next year. And they're hoping they can come to some sort of agreement on the routes to have them running come march of 2014. The cost for the trolleys will be 120,000 dollars a year and has already been put in for the budget.
