All lanes of Interstate 75 north at milepost 63.8 (between Exit 63 and U.S. Highway 41) are open.

Lanes were closed following a motor vehicle accident that occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m.

Original estimates were lanes would be closed for several hours, but the roadway has been cleared.

Georgia State Patrol confirms one is dead in an Interstate 75 crash between a tractor trailer, SUV and sedan.

The accident occurred around Exit 63, and the northbound lane was closed for several hours. Two northbound lanes have since reopened.

Detours are being maintained by local law enforcement and the Georgia State Patrol.

Motorists should expect delays and are asked to be patient, drive slowly and exercise extreme caution in the area.
