PrideFest 2011

Rainbow flags were flying high today as Pridefest 2011 took over Kleman Plaza.

The annual celebration is hosted by The Family Tree and allows the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender population to come together for their own crusade.

The organization's goal is to promote peace, understanding, education, acceptance and equality to all groups in Tallahassee.

Andy Janecek, from The Family Tree says, "Try to teach other people that we important, we're here too, we're loud. We love Tallahassee it's diversity at it's best."

Event planners also say, pridefest brings in Family Tree supporters from all over the United States
