A group of more than sixty Air Force Majors from Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama made a pit stop in Tallahassee.

The military members began a 465 mile relay cycle and run to raise funds for the Special Operations Warrior Fund.

The participates will end the relay at the Mac Dill Air Force Base in Tampa.

"Most of the people that are doing the relay, we have sixty participates, have lost a friend in combat," said Matt Astroff, a Warrior Relay Coordinator.

The fund aids families of those who have lost their lives in combat.
