Marianna, FL - Authorities believe road rage could be what led to an altercation at a Marianna gas station that left one man injured.
Many details are still uncertain, but Jackson County Sheriff Lou Roberts, says 3 motorcyclists were traveling east bound on Highway 10 when some kind of altercation took place with a truck.
The parties separated but later were coincidentally reunited at the Sunoco station where the second altercation occurred.
"We've got an individual who's been injured as a result of being struck by the pick-up truck. His vehicle which he was driving was occupied by himself. He, his wife, and child were shot at by one of the individuals who was on the motorcycle. We're trying to determine now if he was doing it in a way of getting away or whether his actions were in intent of causing injury to the party."
No one was injured as a result of the gun shots. The motorist struck by the truck was life flighted to Panama City where his condition is unknown. All involved parties have been detained. No formal arrests have been made at this time.
