Tallahassee, FL - The Tallahassee Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference is calling for fair voting rights.

The group says voter rights in Florida are getting weaker because of infringements and voter I-D requirements they believe should not exist.

The chapter president, Rev. Lee Johnson, says, "We're not going to stand by. We're going to demand better of our state and our nation. If voting rights or voting was a person, he would be in intensive care right now.

The Secretary of State announced last year there would not be a voter purge this year after 2012 purge efforts were criticized.
