Another warm and humid afternoon is on tap for us. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s, with a few locations pulling out a 90 for a high. We'll see a few more clouds as the afternoon progresses.
There is a slight chance of rain today and over the next few days. Overall, only about a 20% chance. Best chances will be across the eastern portion of the area.
The spine of the state will see the most afternoon thunderstorm activity as the east and west coast sea breezes collide. This could bring a few showers in the portions of Taylor, Lafayette, Madison and Suwannee Counties over the next few days.
Rain chances slowly climb through the upcoming week. They'll top out around 30% by Wednesday. The real summer time pattern will hold off for at least another week or so.
